>ASUS 2011 Tablet Line Up

18 三月, 2011 發表留言

> Tablets are big news at this year’s CES, and the announcements from Asus are no exception. The difference with Asus’s product line up for 2011, however, comes from the choice the range of tablets offers the customer – whether you’re a commuter who wants to enjoy HD video or a mobile worker who wants something light but easy to work on, there’s something for everyone. For all the details you’ll have attend the Asus press conference, but here’s a sneak preview of some of the announcements. There’s a 12 inch device for those that demand the very best. This slider will appeal to those that want the flexibility of a keyboard, whilst those that want a tablet with the flexibility of a tablet with more more power and occassionaly keyboard will love this device. And for those that want something super-light that you can operate with one hand, there’s a 7 inch announcement coming for you too. But that’s just the beginning of what this tablet line-up can offer. Full details will be available at the Asus CES press conference on Tuesday 4th January, but if you can’t attend that, make sure you go to techinstyle.tv for all the details.

>NVIDIA Optimus and the Asus UL50VF Notebook Video Review

30 一月, 2011 發表留言

> Get comfortable, this one is a bit long, but the technology is revolutionary! NVIDIA Optimus technology brings seamless graphics switching to notebooks, allowing for hassle free use of discrete graphics when you need them, along with all the battery saving benefits of a ULV (ultra low voltage) based system. Optimus works by physically providing or cutting off power to the video card in a system. The software can automatically detect what programs or applications will need to use discrete graphics and adjust completely by itself. The best part is, no user interference is required. There are no buttons to push, switches to flick or settings to adjust. The change is simple and flawless. All of this is packed inside a very sleek and professional Asus UL50VF notebook which combines portability, performance, style, and an incredible warranty; the perfect compliment to debut NVIDIA Optimus.
